Tolu Arokodare will have his sights set on the Champions League group stage as Genk look to seal a spot in the upcoming edition of the tournament.
The UEFA Champions League qualification stages forge ahead as the second leg of the second round of qualification matches are set to take place.
KRC Genk are not exempt from this as they play the second leg match of their tie against Servette of Switzerland. This time they will be the home team for the exchange on Wednesday , August 2nd. The match will take place at the Cegeka Arena in Belgium in front of the Genk faithful.
Champions League group stage spot hangs in the balance for Genk
The Stade the Geneve in Carouge, Switzerland was the stage for the first leg match between the two clubs with the home team looking to get a crucial home win before the second leg against a stronger Genk side.
Genk were favourites going into the tie for a reason and the start of the game did not go according to Sevrette's plan with the Belgians taking early control of the game.
Their dominance paid dividends as they eventually got the opening goal of the game, through Nigerian forward, Tolu Arokodare.
Tolu Arokodare was on target for Genk in their Uefa Champions League Qualifier game away at Servette, Switzerland.

The 22-year-old striker found the back of the net in the 21st minute of the match as the Nigerian used every bit of his six foot six inch frame to connect with a cross played in by Patrick Hrosovsky from a corner kick before anyone else could.
KRC Genk looked comfortable in the match after Arokodare's goal and controlled large parts of the game but they were pegged back by a Sevrette equalizer towards the end of the match through Steve Roullier.
It was the second set piece goal of the night, but this time it was a cross from Timothee Cognat which reached the head of Roullier in the penalty box. His well placed header was able to beat Martin Vandervoort in goal to give them the equalizer which saw the game end in a stalemate at full time.
Genk and Arokodare can finish the job on Wednesday
A draw was probably a disappointing result for Genk due to how much better they were on the night but it's not the worst outcome in the world.
They will go into the second leg as favourites to win again and this time, they will have the backing of their loyal fans as the hosts.
The last game Genk played was a Jupiler Pro League match against RVD Molenbeek. Tolu Arokodare did not start the match and came on in the second half. Fellow Nigerian striker Collins Sor started in his place. They didn't really need Tolu's services as they picked up a comfortable 4-0 win.

Arokodare only played 15 minutes of the game and will be fully prepared and ready for the second-leg tie against Sevrette. The 22-year-old will most likely lead the line for the team from the start as he did the previous week since he didn't start over the weekend.
