Crystal Palace are preparing to make an opening bid of 10 million euro for Sporting CP's 19-year-old Ghanaian player Abdul Issahaku Fatawu.

The club held talks with the Portuguese club last week and received information about the player, who see the Black Stars winger as a replacement for Chelsea-bound Michael Olise.

The versatile Ghanaian winger wants to move to the Premier League and his agents have been told that personal terms will not be a problem should the clubs agree to a deal.

However, Sporting CP consider Fatawu to be worth 17 million euros and will not accept Palace's opening offer for the teenager, GoalBall transfer expert Ekrem Konur reports.

Dutch giants Ajax are also interested in Abdul Issahaku Fatawu, who would move to the Eredivisie giants to fill the void countryman Mohammed Kudus could leave.

Kudus is attracting interest from West Ham and Brighton, and Ajax have been keeping close eyes on Fatawu's development.

The Dutch club will have no problem paying the 17 million euros Sporting CP is asking for.

Also, AS Roma have been monitoring Fatawu's progress for a while now at the request of Jose Mourinho.

It was rumoured that there could be movement on the Roma side next week.

Fatawu broke into the Ghana team as a 17-year-old and has 14 Black Stars caps to his name.

He was also a member of Otto Addo's Ghana squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
