Super Eagles duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi currently play in the Championship with Leicester City.

Both players are currently looking for a route out of the club with Wilfred Ndidi seemingly on the move.

Reputable transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano broke the news that Premier League club Nottingham Forest are preparing to table a bid for Ndidi.

Romano reports that personal terms have been agreed between the player and the club with negotiations between Leicester and Forest set to start.

Like his Super Eagles teammate Ndidi, Iheanacho has had interest from different clubs to move clubs and is talented enough and young enough to continue his career in a top European League.

With the above in mind, here are some possible destinations that Iheanacho could still go to as the transfer window draws nearer to a close.

Crystal Palace

Iheanacho has attracted Premier League interest throughout the summer and the latest of those was Crystal Palace. The London club have had a bid rejected for the Nigerian as the club sees the Nigerian as an important member of their squad.

Roy Hogson’s side are in desperate need of a Premier League quality goalscorer and Iheanacho can be that player for them. Since having their bid rejected, they have not gone back in for the player but anything can happen in the coming days.

Saudi Arabia

The Leicester City player of the year for last year has also attracted the interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia as well.

With the influx of players that are moving to the Saudi Pro League, Iheanacho could join his former international teammate, Odion Ighalo in the Middle Eastern league.

Manchester United

Manchester United have started the season in decent fashion but the issues they have still persist. They are short in attack and need more goal-scorers. It is true that they have signed Rasmus Hojlund, who is yet to debut for the club but they are in need of quality depth at the striker position.

Iheanacho is also versatile and can play as a striker, a number 10 or even on the right. He will provide brilliant cover for United’s frontline as he is an end-product machine.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

For a long time, Wolves have had issues with goal-scoring. With the absence of Raul Jimenez, Wolves are in need of a player that can consistently score goals for them. Mateus Cunha is a player with a lot of great qualities at centre forward but he is not a prolific goal scorer.

Iheanacho on the other hand, would thrive in an environment where he is allowed to show his quality in front of goal as the main goal threat.

Everton

Everton are struggling for goals at the moment and  Iheanacho may be a solution to their problems. The Toffees are set to sign Udinese striker Beto but they may need to add Iheanacho to their books as well in order to bolster their ranks up front.

Iheanacho’s versatility allows him to play in other positions, providing extra goal threat and creativity.

The Super Eagles midfielder will be hoping to move to a bigger League in order to help his AFCON 2023 cause.

With one year left on his current deal, the Foxes will not want to lose the 26-year-old on a free next summer.
