Injury Update Emerges On Firmino After Liverpool Draw

It has been confirmed by Jurgen Klopp that Roberto Firmino could be in for a very short period of time on the sidelines after the match against Chelsea.

The Brazilian was substituted before half-time as he looked uneasy, and it felt like he had a niggling injury.

Klopp provided an update on the fitness of the player in the press conference later saying:

“Bobby felt his hamstring, came over and told us, and we had to prepare the change. Bobby is nobody who raises the hand when he doesn’t feel anything”.

Klopp went on to explain it did not look ‘serious‘ but can only give a definitive answer after a scan.

“It doesn’t look too serious but you never know before you have a scan, and we will know tomorrow.”

The international break that is around the corner will make the 29-year-old not miss out on a lot of games, provided the injury is not serious.
