Mo Salah Demands £500,000-A-Week To Sign New Liverpool Deal

Mohamed Salah is willing to sign a new deal at Liverpool if only the club could pay his £500,000-a-week demand to stay at Anfield beyond 2023.

The Egyptian has been a joy to the Kop after his return to the Premier League in 2017; scoring 97 league goals in just 148 appearances and has won the Golden Boot on two occasions.

He's also helped the team clinch the UEFA Champions League, he's, therefore, an important figure in Jurgen Klopp's team.

Salah's contract has just two years left to run and his next deal could be the last big one he signs, be it with the Reds or elsewhere.

DailyMirror has reported that the 29-year old Salah wants £500,000-a-week in order to extend his contract further than the two years left on his current deal, which could force Liverpool to sell.

The report claims that owners FSG are happy to give him a big pay increase, from his current reported £200,000-a-week, but don't want to break their wage structure to keep him.

And should the club agree to his demands, the former Chelsea and Roman winger will then become the highest-paid player in the history of the club – it's however unlikely to happen.
