Barcelona vs Valencia, La Liga 202021 - Match Preview, Betting Tip

Barcelona hosts Valencia at the Camp Nou in a match from the 9th round of La Liga. This is a really good moment to present to you our free soccer betting tips for this fixture in the Catalan capital.

Times are not easy for Barca and the manager Ronald Koeman. Los Cules lost their last two games in all competitions and they are currently 9th in the La Liga standings with 12 points won.

The Catalans are currently 5 points behind the leader Real Madrid, but they also have a game in hand – that’s something important we have to mention.

Before the international break Barca lost their last two games in all competitions against Benfica and Atletico Madrid.

In these two fixtures Los Cules didn’t score a single goal and conceded five. Surely these performances do not make Barca’s fans proud – they were kind of really poor.

The situation for the manager Ronald Koeman is getting more and more complex as everybody talks about him getting sacked. It all depends now on the decision president Joan Laporta will take.

The young midfield star Pedri remains sidelined with an injury for Barcelona while Ousmane Dembele is sidelined as well. Jordi Alba is expected to return to the line-up after missing the last two fixtures.

Against Atletico Koeman tried a 4-2-3-1 formation, but it didn’t work out. One of the big changes against Valencia could be the return of Ansu Fati in Barca’s starting eleven.

The young star made few appearances as a substitute after returning from an injury, but maybe that’s the right moment for him to become a starter again.

Everybody talks about the 17-years old Gavi right now. A product of Barca’s famous LA Masia Academy, Gavi made his debut for the national team against Italy during the week.

Surprisingly Spain’s head coach Luis Enrique decided to start him against the European champion Italy and Gavi made a really good game for La Roja.

Despite ongoing financial difficulties, Valencia started in a decent way under their new head coach Jose Bordalas. Los Che are currently 8th in the standings with 12 points – one position ahead of their next opponent Barcelona.

Their record since the beginning of the campaign goes like this – 3 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses.

Before the break, Valencia made a second consecutive draw in the league. Bordalas’ boys paid a visit to Cadiz where the game ended 0-0. Both teams had some opportunities to score a winning goal, but in the end it didn’t happen.

Once again Bordalas used his favorite 4-4-2 formation. He put Goncalo Guedes and Marcos Andre in attack while Yunus Musah and Hugo Duro had to operate on the two wings.

In the second half the head coach picked Diakhaby, Radic and Manu Vallejo from the bench, but it didn’t lead to a win.

Some players in Valencia’s squad are recovering from injuries. Jose Gaya, Denis Cheryshev, Carlos Soler and Thierry Correia all missed the last game in Cadiz.

The club’s medical staff is working with them, but we still don’t know how many of these players would be ready to face Barca at the Camp Nou.

That’s the free soccer betting tips for the La Liga clash between Barcelona and Valencia at the Catalan capital after the international break.

Both clubs are in the middle of the standings, so it’s hard to pick a favorite here. Barca has the advantage to play at home, but Los Cules are in some serious crisis at the moment.

This gives Valencia a good opportunity to record a positive result on Catalan soil.
