Super Eagles transfer news: Everton join race for Sanusi; Arsenal to break bank for Osimhen

Osimhen Transfer News: Agent Claims €220 Million Is on the Table
Osimhen will command a heavy price tag if Napoli sell him in the summer

The 2022/23 season is drawing closer and closer and clubs are making moves to strengthen their squads ahead of the coming season.

A number of Super Eagles players have been linked with big moves and here are the latest links including a pleasant surprise for one of the Super Eagles' best performers in the just concluded international games.

Arsenal desperate for Osimhen; willing to match Napoli asking price

The Gunners are desperate for a striker in the coming season and after seeing one of the key targets in Darwin Nuñez move to Liverpool, they have turned their attention to Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

They have had an early bid turned down by the Partenopei and now, The Sun is reporting that they are ready to offer €100 million for his services, €10 million less than Napoli's asking price.

The Gunners have lost Alexandre Lacazette on a free and have only Eddie Nketiah, whose future is still unsure, as their only striker option. They have been linked to Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus but the Brazilian's move could also fail.

Jesus has also morphed into a second striker/wide player who plays better when he has a partner to play off of. This is the reason for their pursuit of Osimhen, who is one of the fastest rising stars in world football.

Osimhen will break his own record as the most expensive African player and will also become Arsenal's most expensive player ever if Napoli agree to the Gunners' offer.

Zaidu Sanusi on Everton's radar

FC Porto man Zaidu Sanusi is now a target for Everton after a fine season in the Portuguese Primera Liga.

The Nigerian fullback has been unable to win over the fans at the Estadio do Dragao despite being one of the most trusted players at the club since he joined them.

He has been linked with several moves abroad but this summer sees him linked with the most clubs since he moved to Europe. Newly-promoted Premier League side Fulham are interested in him and Everton, who survived relegation by the skin of their teeth last season, have now thrown their hat in the ring.

Crystal Palace as well as Brighton and Hove Albion are also linked to the midfielder who has a €45 million release clause at Porto.

A bidding war could take place between the Premier League sides for Sanusi in the coming weeks.
