En-Nesyri’s header Gives Sevilla Lifeline vs. Elche

Youssef En-Nesyri's header salvaged a 1-1 draw for Sevilla at Elche on Saturday; the draw means that Julen Lopetegui's men are unbeaten after three games.

It was the Moroccan's second goal of the campaign and it came shortly before half-time to fire Sevilla to seven points alongside Real Madrid, Valencia and Real Mallorca.

Elche drew the first blood through its defender, Enzo Roco, in the eleventh minute.

But Sevilla, who are hoping to challenge for the title again this season, responded via a Youssef En-Nesyri's header before half time.

And after falling away to finish fourth in the latter part of last season, Sevilla will fancy their chance of vying for the title this term given that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are seemingly, just starting from scratch.

Meanwhile, a victory for Champions, Atletico Madrid against Villareal on Sunday will take them to nine points having Kickstarted the campaign with back-to-back wins against Celta Vigo and Elche.
