Man City 4-0 Liverpool: Mo Salah Reveals The In-Fighting In The Reds Squad

Mohamed Salah has opened up about a split in the Liverpool camp over the Manchester City match last night.

Liverpool players celebrated having sealed the club’s first league title in 30 years after watching the Chelsea-Manchester City clash last Thursday as the title was sealed.

But the Egyptian admits some of his team-mates wanted to go into last night’s game with City needing to win to be champions, while others wanted it decided last week.

“I think everyone was excited to watch the game [Chelsea vs Man City] together,” Salah told Sky Sports.

“Some players wanted to win against Man City and win the Premier League there and some players said ‘No, let's win it now and celebrate together'.

“It was an unbelievable feeling, when Chelsea scored the second one, it was like ‘Wow', it was a party.

“We tried to keep the distance but it doesn't work sometimes but we did our best.”

Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden struck with the likes of Joe Gomez and Andy Robertson looking off their game.
