Rodgers Confirms The Three Key Leicester Players Who Will Miss Sheffield Clash

Leicester City will be without one of their key central defenders and could also be missing a couple more influential players for the visit of Sheffield United.

Chris Wilder's men are in good form ahead of taking on the Foxes, being unbeaten in their last four games with three wins in that run, including a 3-0 victory against Chelsea the last time out.

Leicester, by contrast, are in indifferent form.

United know that victory on Thursday evening will move the Bramall Lane side to within two points of the Foxes.

And the East Midlands side have some injury doubts ahead of the clash.

Midfielder Daniel Amartey and defender Ricardo Pereira remain long-term absences for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Turkish central defender Caglar Soyuncu is suspended for the clash after being shown a red card for lashing out at Callum Wilson during the 4-1 defeat against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Two more key players for the Foxes who missed the loss against the Cherries included playmaker James Maddison and left-back Ben Chilwell.
