Raphinha, Rodrigo Injury Updates Emerge After Man City Win

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has provided updates on the conditions of Raphinha and Rodrigo after his sides epic 2-1 success at Manchester City.

Record signing Rodrigo missed Saturday's contest at the Etihad altogether whilst star winger Raphinha had to be substituted in the 89th minute following a heavy challenge from Fernandinho which saw the City midfielder booked.

Asked for an update in the aftermath of Saturday's 2-1 victory and pressed on whether the injury was a serious one, Bielsa said: “I haven't asked, but don't have the feeling it is anything serious.”

Asked about Rodrigo, United's head coach explained: “He had a problem in the last training session. So he wasn't in conditions to participate.”
