Sundowns dominated Bumamura from start to finish in the first leg and did not look like the visiting team. Brazilian forward Lucas Ribeiro, Lesiba Nku and Peter Shalulile gave the Brazilians the victory in Tanzania.
They were three goals up by the end of the first half thanks to Ribeiro and Nku. Shalulile, who was returning from injury to football action, came on in the second half to add the fourth, sending the travelling crowd into a wild frenzy.
