Early life
We would like to point out that Thabiso Monyane was born on 30th April 2000. The 23 year old came through the Orlando Pirates development academy; as he attended trials with the team in 2012.
Thabiso Monyane club career
It's important to point out that Thabiso Monyane has only ever played for one team. He made his debut for Orlando Pirates in 2019, and has been at the club since then. The defender has represented the club in a few competitions, including the CAF Champions League, South African Premier Soccer League and the MTN 8 Cup, amongst others.
At the time of writing, Monyane has scored two goals for Orlando Pirates; once in the Premier Soccer, and once in the MTN 8 Cup. The 23 year old also has three assists to his name. He has a CAF Confederations Cup silver medal, as well as three domestic titles with Orlando Pirates. The defender proceeded to represent the country at the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup, where he scored in their final group game; his debut for Orlando Pirates came three months after that tournament.
It's also worth mentioning that Thabiso Monyane was part of South Africa's U23 AFCON squad in 2019; as he helped his country win the bronze medal, securing a place in the Tokyo Olympics in the process. He made his Olympic debut in 2021, coming on for Teboho Mokoena in South Africa's 4-3 loss to France.
